Chapter 6

WHAT CAN I DO TO BE SAVED?
REPENT AND BE BAPTISED FOR THE REMISSION OF YOUR SIN.

THE LORD WANTS YOU TO REPENT.

REPENT MEANS TO FEEL REGRET; TO CHANGE ONES MIND ABOUT SOMETHING.
Matthew 9:13 explains: FOR HE CAME NOT TO CALL THE RIGHTEOUS, BUT SINNERS TO REPENTANCE.
Luke13:3, SAYS : except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
Why choose to die when we can have eternal life?

His death pays the price for your sins.
Seek God. Humbly ask to be forgiven of your sins. Jesus Christ paid the full price for them on a ROMAN CROSS ALMOST 2000 years ago. WE ALL SIN.
Receive the gift; forgiveness and unending love. The joy from being forgiven and in fellowship with God is deep and permanent.

Jesus said; Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him knocks, the door will be opened. Says Matthew 7: 7,8.

Dont you want to feel clean from sin? The BIBLE says, for the wages of sin is death; but the gift of GOD is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord! Romans 6 : 23.
God wants to give you eternal life! JESUS says, I am gone to prepare a place for you that where I am, there he will be also, if it was not so, I would have told you.
JOHN bare witness to this (place) that the LORD gone to prepare

Once I had a fear of dying, should in case I die and my soul is not ready to meet my makerI had this fear because I was full of sin. However, the fear is no longer there because I have given my life to Christ and accepted his Salvation. I now know that when I die, I will be at that place he gone to prepare.

WHO IS JOHN? ONE MIGHT ASK?

Revelation tells who John is; and about the city Christ gone to prepare.
Revelation 1: 9 tells us about John.
9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,

11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send [it] unto the seven churches which are in Asia;

Revelation 21: explains about the Holy City.
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, [and be] their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

The Lord is true to his promises. The things of this world will dim and lose their value and they are only for a while However, there is a New World that awaits believers in Christ.
