Chapter 18

NOW YOU ARE SAVE!!! (Salvation through Faith)

If you pray this prayer with all conviction and belief, yes you are save!
However, the devil will try to bring back your past before your eyes, and try to tell you that you are not save, this is where you need faith!!! How can we receive faith?
Romans 10: 17, explains:
17 So then faith [cometh] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

This is what the word of God has to say about being save.

Romans 10 :9 11 explains:
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Romans 10 : 13
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Romans 10 : 13, says whosoever, he did not say if you have too much sin.
He did not say if you kill too many people; he did not say if you commit too much crime; he did not say if you have too many abortions; he did not say if you are a professional prostitute; he did not say if you are only white; he did not say if you are only black; he did not say only for the Jews; he did not say only for the Gentiles; he did not say if you fornicate too much; or commit too much adultry; or do too much drugs; or tell too many lies; and the list goes on and on

BUT HE DID SAY, WHOSOEVER SHALL CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALL BE SAVED!!!
Meaning that, since we are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God, no matter what sin we have done in our mortal body. Christ is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, if we call on the name of the LORD.
If we call upon his name we shall be save.

Now that we are save, we now turn from our past life, unto righteousness; we now do the things of God according to his word.

2 Corinthians 5:17 21 explains;
17 Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech [you] by us: we pray [you] in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

21 For he hath made him [to be] sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things [is] death.

22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
23 For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

WHAT IS FAITH
Hebrews 11: 1 tells us;
1 Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

6 But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek
him.

2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.
3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as [in] a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:

10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker [is] God.
11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.
13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of [them], and embraced [them], and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.
