THE SELF RIGHTEOUS
Someone maybe saying today, I am a good person, I have never done wrong in all my life!
This is what the bible has to say about self righteousness.
Isaiah : 64 :6 says;
6 But we are all as an unclean [thing], and all our righteousnesses [are] as filthy rags;
Romans 3 : 9 says: What then? are we better [than they]? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
18 There is no fear of God before their eyes.
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
We need to have the BLOOD OF JESUS, which is without blemish and spot for the atonement of our soul to cleanse us from all sins.
Leviticus 17:11 says;
11 For the life of the body [is] in the blood. for it [is] the blood [that] maketh an atonement for the soulmeaning that, the blood is use to cleanse the soul from sin.
